Netball Mainland reports that junior participation across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region has held strong this year, with weekend competitions at Hagley Park and Pioneer Stadium running near capacity.

Several clubs, including Cashmere, Burnside and Papanui, said their junior grades had grown to the point of needing additional coaching volunteers. Most clubs have been actively recruiting parents and senior players to help cover Saturday morning duties.

The Mainland Tactix continue to be a visible role model for younger players, with regular school visits and clinics through the season. Clinic registrations typically open through Netball Mainland's website ahead of each school holidays.

End-of-season prizegivings are scheduled across the next month, with most clubs combining the event with a final family day at their home courts.
