It was a strong weekend for Canterbury Country and Christchurch Metropolitan Cricket Association sides, with several individual centuries and tight finishes across the senior grades.
In the men's premier competition, Old Collegians and Riccarton recorded comprehensive wins, while St Albans and Sydenham played out the round's closest finish, decided in the final over.
Women's premier cricket continues to develop, with the league seeing record participation numbers this summer. Junior competitions across the region also reported steady weekend turnout despite the unsettled weather earlier in the round.
Full results and updated points tables are published by both associations each Monday morning. Selectors will be watching closely as Canterbury A and Magicians squads firm ahead of representative fixtures later in the season.
