There is plenty on across Christchurch this weekend, with markets, live music and community events spread across the city and Banks Peninsula.
Saturday morning opens with the Lyttelton Farmers Market on London Street and the Riccarton Bush Market behind Riccarton House. Both run from 9am, with most stallholders open until at least midday.
The Arts Centre hosts its weekend market on Saturday and Sunday, alongside the rotating exhibition programme at the Centre of Contemporary Art. Tūranga and the Air Force Museum at Wigram both have free family programming through the day.
Live music options include venues across the central city, with a current gig list maintained by Under the Radar and Eventfinda. Christ's College, the Town Hall and the Isaac Theatre Royal also have ticketed performances scheduled through the weekend.
